Tell Somebody
My name is Aleesha Barlow, and I am the creator of the Tell Somebody Movement. I am a survivor of child SA abuse, at the hands of my maternal grandfather. At age 6, I told a family member about the abuse I was enduring. I was told to keep it a secret, and the abuse continued. It took me 20 years to tell my dad, but an immediate weight was lifted off my shoulders when I did! I want ALL survivors to feel that, so I started Tell Somebody.
Child abusers, please stop.Parents, please talk with and believe your children.Survivors, please seek therapy. You are not alone.
If you would like to support the Tell Somebody Movement, and help teach a kid how to protect themselves from predators, consider donating. Thank you for your support! xoxo - Aleesha Barlow
